Decadence NYE is Taking Over!

There’s many different traditions and ways that one might celebrate the passing of one year and the beginning of another. some prefer enjoying the company of a few loved ones, and others bundle up in New York City to watch the ball drop, but there is one new years celebration that has claimed the title of the biggest new years celebration in America and I definitely know why.

As many of you probably know, Decadence is a Denver-based annual NYE festival hosted by Global Dance, one of Colorado’s biggest event promoters. It has been located in Denver for 11 years and three years ago expanded into Phoenix, Arizona. This NYE Decadence debuts in yet another market…Salt Lake City, Utah.

Decadence is bringing many firsts this year with its first stop in Salt Lake City. Lots of big names perform in Salt Lake on the regular, so I’m sure many people are ecstatic over the fact that Knife Party, Pegboard Nerds, Figure, and others will be coming to Utah on new years eve. This is also going to be the biggest two day event Arizona has seen yet. Relentless Beats is on the right track bringing bigger events to Arizona starting out with two wonderful days of Wet Electric this past summer, and now we’re bringing over twenty of the biggest names in EDM.

Decadence has always been the new years hot spot over in CO, and has been working its way to the big leagues ever since. I had the opportunity of attending last years Decadence here in AZ, and its safe to say I plan on spending every New Years to come the same exact way. I thought last year was amazing with names including Flosstradamus, Seven Lions, DVBBS, Fedde Le Grande, Kaskade, and more… but this year is blowing the past out of the water.

Jaws have been dropping continuously as the headliners are being announced for this years Decadence lineup. The announcment of the event being extended to two days was enough to begin with, and mixed with the performers filling in the slots is a recipe for the perfect new years eve celebration.
