Phoenix Lights Artist Spotlight on SNBRN: The Master of Sunset House

Kevin Andrew Chapman aka SNBRN (pronounced Sunburn) refers to his music as “sunset house.” Most of us know him for his hit “Raindrops” or his remix of 50 Cent’s “21 Questions.” And if you know these songs, you know his music is tropical, bouncy and oh so catchy.

Maybe you weren’t able to see him crush it at Ultra Music Festival this year but don’t worry, you can still catch SNBRN this Saturday at Phoenix Lights 2016.

According to SNBRN’s bio on UltraMusic.com, Chapman got into dance music when he was 12. In 2008, Chapman got his own digital production software and began to engrain himself in the LA and San Diego club scene. By May of 2014, SNBRN was born. Chapman had created his own sub genre which mixed deep house, indie, dance, and disco elements.

Since 2014, SNBRN has grown and hit major career milestones all in under two years. One of his most recognizable milestones was snagging a spot in the line-up of Ultra this year, among other huge names like AviciiAfrojack, Kaskade and many more. SNBRN has also gained millions of plays on both his SoundCloud and Youtube and released multiple chart topping tracks on HypeMachine.

Earlier this year, SNBRN dropped a massive house collaboration with Shaun Frank and Dr. Fresch: “The New Order”. The track is features hypnotic bass and powerful female vocals, giving it a total club feel.

Love it?  If so, definitely also check out Dr. Fresch on Sunday at the RB Deep Stage at Phoenix Lights.
