RB Weekend Preview: Diplo, Soul Clap, Kayzo + San Holo, and Paris Blohm

We’ve got a very busy schedule in front of us this weekend. With four different events to choose from, you and your friends will have no problem trying to do something fun. The hardest part is just going to be choosing which events you want to go to! We’re kicking off the beginning of the weekend with Diplo at the Talking Stick Resort. Then right after that wonderful pool party you can choose between either Soul Clap at Bar smith, or you can head right downstairs to Monarch Theater and see Kayzo and San Holo throw down same fire! Then after all of those festivities, Sunday morning we’re gonna be back at the Talking Stick Resort to see Paris Blohm as we lay out in the sun and enjoy the good vibes.

Diplo at Talking Stick Resort (04/23)

Just two weeks since the Release Pool Party series has kick off, the man and the legend himself, Diplo, will be hitting the decks to share some music for everyone! If you’ve been around EDM for any amount of time then you probably know how big of a name Diplo is to bring out and kick off this awesome pool party series. Just two months ago on February 15th, Diplo won an award at the Grammy’s along with Skrillex, as their duo Jack Ü, for Best Dance Record with their song “Where Are Ü Now”. Soul Clap at Bar Smith (04/23)

Right after we get done laying out in the sun enjoying some Diplo vibes the rest of the crowd that is 21+ is going to be able to head over to Bar Smith(If you make it!). Soul Clap is an American DJ and production duo from Boston, Massachusetts. They just recently released their new album Crew Love: Based on A True Story which actually features their whole collective! The album’s press release promises “eight musical masterpieces about smoking pot, ex-girlfriends and of course, TRUE LOVE.” According to XLR8R, Soul Clap “[tempts] the listener into the darker, more abstract corners of house (and its relative offshoots) by dressing them up with smooth, jazzy trimmings.” Check out their album below to see what Soul Clap is all about:

Kayzo + San Holo at Monarch Theater (04/23)

For those of the squad members who aren’t 21+ and wont be able to attend Soul Clap, that’s okay because we have another event just right next door to satisfy all your desires and needs! Kayzo + San Holo will be headlining, and if you aren’t familiar with these two you definitely need to check them out because they create a very dynamic duo! San Holo is the future beats to trap connoisseur that might be dubbed the fastest growing current electronic talent. Having songs released on a variety of labels including Heroic, Monstercat, Spinnin Records, OWSLA, and many others, San Holo has easily made a name for himself as being one of the most diverse artists in the game right now.

Kayzo doesn’t fall far from the feats of San Holo however. Kayzo saw his break in 2012 when he was selected as the winner of Insomniac’s ‘Discovery Project’ Challenge with a mind-blowing mix featuring every genre under the sun. This win gave him the opportunity to play a set at Insomniac’s ‘Escape From Wonderland’ festival where he captivated an audience and melted faces. Did we mention that this was his first gig ever? Kayzo quickly became recognized as the artist to watch in 2014 and he continues to gain support from DJs and fans, leaving them wanting more tracks and awe-inspiring, energy-filled live performances.

Paris Blohm at Talking Stick Resort (04/24)

In 2012, after producing for 7 years, LA native and former bedroom producer Paris Blohm’s trance-infused, progressive, and electro-house productions garnered the support of Tiesto, Hardwell, and Sander Van Doorn, to name a few. He also caught the attention of music industry giant Interscope Records, with whom he signed a management deal. Paris has since taken the dance music world by storm, flooding the internet with dozens of massive releases. With multiple exciting collaborations slated for the coming months, and a rapidly growing fanbase, all eyes are on Paris… and he’s just getting started.
