Relentless Beats

This Right Here’s a Panty-Dropper: PANTyRAiD to Come to Phoenix in May

Ask anyone who has an interest in electronic music about who some of today’s key players in the market are and you’re bound to get some of the same answers: Diplo, Steve Aoki, Odesza, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Skrillex, Avicii, the list goes on and on.

In a seemingly oversaturated market, one group has managed to outlast the revolving market for years while flying under the radar, producing complex beats that have transcended the ages: PANTyRAiD.

PANTyRAiD – Wanting Moves

The lucrative name is actually a front for a collaboration between artists Martin Folb and Josh Mayer.

Since 2008, the duo have showcased the eternal life of electronic dance music by tapping into their unique blend of beats that flow together to create tunes that are ready for the summer.

If you haven’t heard of them, don’t be shocked: PANTyRAiD doesn’t typically tour. In fact, outside of albums, the group only emerged every spring, when they revive their annual PANTyRAiDs at venues nationwide.

When Folb and Mayer aren’t performing together, they are busy headlining their own solo careers as MartyParty and Ooah of The Glitch Mob before coming together to RAiD across the country.

However, the duo are bringing their act on the road for their After Glow tour, which kicks off during the first weekend of the Coachella Music Festival on April 15. The tour will highlight and promote their newest album, “After Glow,” which is set for release on April 29.

For those who can’t make it to Indio, don’t worry: PANTyRAiD will be bringing their RAiD to the Monarch Theatre in Phoenix on May 14.
