Artist Spotlight: Ookay — Coming For Your Heart

There’s a new sheriff in town! Old Town that is! That’s because we’ll be welcoming Ookay to be the main authority for the evening and take control of the decks at Cake nightclub in Scottsdale on September 15th. Our hearts are already fluttering at the thought of this charming personality gracing us with his presence, and so we invite you out to see what we mean.

This talented producer, with an eclectic taste in music, is quickly rising to the forefront of the EDM scene. Rising to the top of the Beatport charts as an acclaimed trap producer, Ookay has also expanded his repertoire to tech and deep house with his side-project Coaster. His skill and popularity amongst crowds at numerous music festivals and nightclubs has quickly gained him the support of reputable acts such as Knife Party, Dirtyphonics, Nervo, and Chuckie. His fluid transitions onstage, his knack for playing absolute bangers on the dance floor, and his beloved persona all culminate to create an excellent show that, to date, has appealed to a wide range of EDM-fans regardless of genre-preference.

Although not a newbie to playing in the valley, this will be his first time playing at Cake in Scottsdale. The lush environment of this beautiful nightclub is the perfect place for Ookay to make his Arizona comeback as it provides for an upscale, yet still playful, atmosphere for which to appeal to the Arizona crowd. We’re excited to watch this young talent evolve and grow in his musical journey and to experience it live with the rest of his fans.
