5 Songs You Need on Your Dim Mak 20th Anniversary Playlist

In 1996, Dim Mak, the CA-based record label, events company, and lifestyle brand founded by Steve Aoki, was born. Over the last 20 years this record label has brought us some of the greatest names in the industry as well as some of the most incredible parties. We knew Dim Mak was going to do it big for its 20th anniversary celebration.

On September 24, the Dim Mak 20th Anniversary World Tour makes its stop in Arizona at Talking Stick Resort for the biggest Release Pool Party of the year. With an unbeatable lineup and a reason to celebrate, this is one pool party you can’t miss. Prepare yourselves for some of Dim Mak’s finest and check out these 5 songs:

1. Steve Aoki & Autoerotique- ILYSM (Original Mix)

The first single on Aoki’s 4OKI EP features Autoerotique and is just as catchy as you’d hope. If you haven’t heard this one yet, Aoki has a few words for you: “Be ready for the drop because I hope it makes you feel something sensitive inside and makes you feel something all glittery.” (via Soundcloud) Catch the legendary Steve Aoki and Autoerotique both perform at Release on Sept. 24.

2. WatchTheDuck – Beautiful, Broken, & Wasted (feat. Steve Aoki) [Caked Up and ohmy Remix]

Caked Up and ohmy took this WatchTheDuck original to a new level with a trappy drop that will make you get up and move. This track got quite a bit of attention when Aoki dropped it in his Miami Music Mix earlier this year, and we’re so glad he did. Don’t miss Caked Up at Dim Mak’s 20th Anniversary celebration at Release.

3. Skrillex & Alvin Risk – Try It Out (Dirtyphonics Remix)

Check out some new new from Dirtyphonics. They’ve been teasing us with this track in their sets for quite some time, and finally decided to release it. Drum and bass filled, this track is heavier and more aggressive than the original, which I wasn’t sure was possible. This remix sets itself apart from the original for sure, but in a fantastic way. Dirtyphonics will also be on the all star Dim Mak lineup at Release on Sept. 24.

4. Garmiani – Bomb A Drop

From booming kick drums and rattling percussion to roaring vocal chants, this track was instantly a hit. So much hype. So much energy. This song is sure to have you up on your feet. See it live at Dim Mak’s 20th Anniversary at Talking Stick Resort!

5. Max Styler – Show U How (feat. KARRA)

Just months ago, Max Styler debuted this future bass sound that’s stacked with “trickling ear candy.” KAARA’s smooth, melodic vocals compliment Styler’s bouncey chord progressions and trap kicks. Check it out and don’t miss Max Styler kill it on the 24th at Release!
