Boo! Square

Meet Your Boo! Line-Up:

Knife Party: Knife Party is an Australian electronic dance music duo. They formed from two members of the drum and bass band Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen. Initially Knife Party started off as a side project between Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen to make “evil” electronic dance music where they were ranked at #53 on DJ Magazine’s annual Top 100 DJs poll, #22 on thedjlist, and #9 based on 2013–14 data conducted by Topple Track and JustGo Music. They have also worked with other artists such as Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia, Steve Aoki, MistaJam, deadmau5, Hardwell, Foreign Beggars, I See MONSTAS, Tom Staar and Tom Morello.

Excision: Jeff Abel, better known by his stage name Excision, is a Canadian producer and DJ. Probably best known for how many necks he has snapped at his shows, Excision makes some of the absolute dirtiest Dubstep that you will ever hear. It’s a little rumor that he can’t play at certain venues because he will blow the power out from over overly-driven bass wobbles blowing from the subwoofers, and in fact one time a while ago he may have done that at an event in Arizona. He just put out his Shambala Mix a couple weeks ago that has been having everybody go crazy. Check it out for yourself below and see what we mean!

Snails: ‘SNAILS’ (A.K.A. Frédérik Durand) is a Montreal-based producer and DJ who pushes a forward-thinking brand of dance music combining hip-hop rhythms, dirty bass lines and off-kilter sound design. A member of the Kannibalen Records family, which is Black Tiger Sex Machine’s label, Snails released his first tracks in 2012. Since then he has amassed a burgeoning fanbase of snail-heads and bass-lovers from all over. His latest tracks that have all gone viral including, “Deep In The Night” with Pegboard Nerds, “Happy Hour” with Botnek and his “FUK UR MGMT” remix blend hypnotic melodies, huge drops and mind-bending sample manipulation into a tight, dance-floor friendly package.

NGHTMRE: NGHTMRE absolutely blew onto the scene faster than anybody else we have seen before. Some would say he arrived the day Skrillex made his ID the only unknown record in his 2015 Ultra set, a record that would go on to be arguably the biggest Trap song that summer. After playing his first headline gigs the week after, Tyler went on to hit almost every major festival in North America, including Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, TomorrowWorld, Snow Globe, Freak Night, OMFG NYE, Moonrise, Contact Music Festival, and LifeInColor Festival. Since then he has collaborated with some of the biggest names Flosstradamus, Pegboard Nerds, Flux Pavillion, Dillon Francis, and so so many more.

Ghastly: If you don’t know Ghastly, also known as David Lee Crow, then you MUST read this section right here! If you don’t know our main man Ghastly grew up in Arizona out on a farm with about 650 cows and a variety of other animals surrounding him at all times. In fact, every once and a while David will post a photo of 8 year old him holding a chicken or something humorous. Anyways the dude has always been an entertainer because schools would take field trips to his farm and he would make friends with everyone else who came through. He would put on music and throw a dance party right there in the barn! After that he moved to a band called The Irish Front in High School where he was the lead vocalist. Then he quickly found his way over to electronic music and soon after finding a deep passion for this type of music the kid took his van and moved out to California to go chase a dream. All in all, the kid is one of the nicest you will ever meet and we are insanely happy that he is coming back to his home town to do his thing.

G Jones: Greg Jones, known as his stage name G Jones, is an electronic music producer. He appeared on the scene about just over a year ago when he released his “Krabby Patty Secret Formula” track that combines just about every influence of music you could hear today. Hip-hop, latin, electronic, dubstep, bass music, whatever it is you want to call it, it’s a big melting pot of everything we all love. G Jones has also been around and gotten to work with several artists such as EPROM, Bassnectar, Bleep Bloop, Pitter Patter, and many more.

Wuki: In an ever-growing field of DJs and producers, uniqueness and ingenuity are what make heads turn. Kris Barman AKA Wuki, has tackled this feat with his brand of electro, techno, dutch house, and bass music. Born half Indian and half German, he grew up listening to an eclectic grab-bag of music. This shows in his strange yet beautiful ethnic fusion of sounds to bring together one of the most high-energy melting pots of bass music we will ever hear today. Just recently the lad has remixed the ever so infamous Galantis to bring us one of the most uplifting and head thrashing tracks of the year. Using his signature bass house/Wuki sound the song will have you up on your feet in a matter of seconds with your friends.
