March 22, 2019
You may have noticed an increase in RB Deep shows as of late, and festivals will be no exception. RBDeep is a growing brand; an extension of Relentless Beats committed to the deeper sounds. These shows have mostly taken place at Monarch theatre, in the upstairs Scarlet Room, but many festivals including Phoenix Lights and Global Dance Festival just later this month will soon be including RBDeep stages. We’ve put together a list of reasons (in case you need the extra push) why you’ll want to stop by the RB Deep ‘Hideout’ on the November 19!
1. Try Something New
If you haven’t checked out an RB Deep show yet, this is your chance! Festivals are the perfect opportunity to wander and discover something new and different. If there are names you haven’t heard before, check them out. We’re sure you’ll find a sound you like at the hideout. Find out what’s made RB Deep grow at such an accelerated rate!
2. Support Female DJs
Female DJs are on the rise, and we’re bringing two badass lady producers to the RB Deep stage! Lee K holds a residency at San Diego’s “Bang Bang”, is one of the creative heads behind CRSSD Festival, and has worked with some huge names like Pete Tong, MK, and Eats Everything. Gina Turner first began as a radio station DJ before moving to Los Angles and transitioning to live shows. She put’s out a killer podcast and has also worked with some greats such as Diplo and Justin Martin. Don’t miss these awesome women when they take the stage at Global Dance Fest.
3. See International Acts
RB Deep regularly pulls artists from across the globe. Some of these acts reside overseas and their visits to the states are far and few in-between. Prok & Fitch are a duo from the UK that consistently has tracks at the top of the Beatport charts, own a successful label, and have a top-notch podcast the brings in tens of thousands of listeners monthly. Although the pair occasionally makes it to the states, they mostly tour around Europe and Asia, so catch them while they’re here!
4. Underground Vibes in the Middle of a Festival
True to its name the RBDeep stage will be a ‘hideout’. With names like Bassnectar, Alison Wonderland, Datsik and Herobust this lineup is full of bass. The RBDeep stage will provide a different vibe. If you need a place to rest your neck from headbanging or just want to groove for awhile this will be the perfect spot to do it. And its located in the heart of the festival at the low-key Six-Shooter theatre.
5. To Meet Your Afterparty DJs
If you haven’t heard already, Relentless Beats is throwing an awesome GDF after party! A taco party, to be specific. As if tacos aren’t enough, Lee Foss and Golf Clap will be bringing the beats. If you want to get a taste of what they’re about before the afterparty, make sure to catch their sets at Global. Get tickets to the after party here.
Global is sure to be a magical night filled with great music. Make sure you check out the RB Deep artist at the Hideout stage and everybody else on this incredibly stacked lineup on November 19th at Rawhide. Get your tickets here!
