It’s about time. Marshmello has finally released his collab with Wrabel on OWSLA. Earlier this year, the anonymous DJ teased the single, and even went named his current tour after it. But at long last, “Ritual” has finally been released.
Stream the full song here:
Though “Ritual” has more of a pop feel to it than Marshmello’s previous tracks, his classic synth melodies and electro bass vibes still remain. Wrabel’s smooth lyrics add the perfect upbeat feeling to the already positive melodies woven throughout the track. Seriously, this track is an instant hit, and if you don’t believe me, just check out what some of the industries leaders are saying. “Ritual” has already gained positive recognition from Getter, Snails, Ghastly, Ookay and more.
If the song’s release wasn’t enough for you, check out the official music video below, which features just a few familiar faces.
Marshmello- Ritual ft Wrabel (Official Music Video)
Get your taste of the Marshmello life, and yes, it’s just as sweet as you’d think. From playing with puppies, to beach parties and bonfires with Skrillex, Marshmello shows the world he knows how to have a good time. Aside from Skrillex, there are many other familiar faces in the video including Global AZ headliner, Valentino Khan; as well as a few of our very own Decadence AZ headliners, Slushii and “Deadmau5.”
That’s right, Marshmello even attempts to make friends with someone we might not have expected: Deadmau5. Although the real Deadmau5 probably wouldn’t agree to make a guest appearance, Marshmello makes an effort to include him and offers him a place on his squad. If you know anything about Marshmello and Deadmau5, then you know about the ever-lasting beef between them. Seeing Marshmello be the bigger person, by making an attempt to even include the “bully”, truly enhanced the positive theme of this video and song altogether.
If you’re loving “Ritual” just as much as we are, don’t forget to grab your tickets to Decadence NYE Arizona 2016 so you can experience it live.
