The First Sign of Light – Shaun Frank at Cake Nightclub On the Road to Phoenix Lights

Eyes open Arizona, the first sighting for Phoenix Lights 2017 is on its way. Canadian DJ and producer Shaun Frank is on the road to Phoenix Lights Thursday February 2nd at Cake Nightclub in Scottsdale. After a wildly successful year in 2016, Shaun is back in AZ and ready to give you the night you never expected, and certainly one you won’t forget.

Shaun Frank may not be a household name, but you’ve certainly heard some of his material as he’s been sneaking around for the past couple of years collaborating with several big name artists and producers including Borgeous, Oliver Heldens, KSHMR, DVBBS, Delaney Jane, and Steve Aoki.

And even if you’ve been living under a rock, we know there’s one work of art that you have heard from Shaun Frank. While on the “Friendzone” tour with The Chainsmokers Shaun found himself on the bus with Drew Taggart of the iconic pop duo and together they wrote the song that’s been stuck in your head for the past 6 months, “Closer.”  Shaun released his own remix of the song by The Chainsmokers that gives it even more depth and artistic ingenuity.

What separates Shaun Frank from other DJ’s and producers is ability and enthusiasm for dropping live versions of songs he’s produced. Spinnin’ Records recently released a live session video and recording for his latest single “Let You Get Away (Feat. Ashe).” These live sessions are a must see for any fan who can appreciate a DJ playing their own productions live.

While his productions may creep in the pop EDM charts, Shaun Frank is certainly ready to get down, dirty, and weird with his crowds; not matter the setting. Cake Nightclub and its intimate area together with Frank are sure to provide the dark house edge and new order your Thursday night is missing.

After Cake Nightclub on Thursday, you’ll be able to see Shaun Frank under the Phoenix Lights on Saturday April 8th. There’s only one question looming in the build up to Phoenix Lights. Is this the time that Phoenix will finally get to witness Shaun Frank perform live with his good friend, frequent collaborator, and talented singer Delaney Jane? After performing live at several festivals and clubs around the world last year, we can certainly see that the two together are a musical match made in Heaven. I guess we’ll have to simply wait and hopefully be caught by surprise.
