As we move one day closer to the epic Phoenix Lights festival, we welcome one more powerhouse to the incredible lineup. We already know that the lineup has every genre possible for an EDM lover, with everyone from ZHU and Oliver Heldens to Illenium and Tiesto. Getting a taste of everything across the board, the lineup wouldn’t be complete without a little tropical house.
Thomas Jack, the Aussie producer will no doubt be a set to watch this April. One of the kings of tropical, alongside artists like Kygo and Klingande, has made a name for himself with his instrument-heavy hits ranging from acoustic to high in energy. His tracks are filled to the brim with sax, piano, guitar, and other live instruments that result in the happiest of feels. His original tracks like ‘Symphony’ and newest release ‘Rise Up’ have both been huge instant successes, and definitely worth a listen.
Along with his originals, Thomas Jack is the master of putting his personal tropical twist on songs you wouldn’t even think of remixing, my favorite being “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” giving me goosebumps every time I hear it.
He even has a soundcloud series mixes called “Thomas Jack Presents” showcasing hour-long mixes by artists like Bakermat, Pete Tong, Robin Schulz, and Felix Jaehn, along with a handful of his own mixes ranging from 40 minutes to 3 hours. Needless to say, we can have plenty of Thomas Jack before we get the live experience in a couple months.
Thomas is just one of the many you can’t miss out on!! If you haven’t grabbed your Phoenix Lights ticket yet, now is the time! Get them here:
