Relentless Beats

Listen to Third Party’s Debut Album “Hope”

Hope may be Third Party’s debut album, but this is certainly not their first rodeo. This underrated duo has been slowly climbing the ladder of recognition over the years with their striking remixes and virtually flawless productions. Working behind the scenes releasing singles and building their repertoire for years, Third Party was ultimately able to break through the plateau in their ever-culminating musical career when they announced the establishment of their own record label Release Records. From there, they began working with the likes of Martin Garrix and Steve Angelo, and ultimately were able to release their own record.

The album’s title is indicative of the uplifting message Third Party is trying to send to their fans through the music. Hope‘s effortless mixture of progressive house and melodic beats make for quite an entrancing adventure.

Third Party introduces their musical trip with the euphoric “Without You”, setting the tone for the rest of the album. “Without You” is followed by the lead single “Live Forever” which most of you may have already heard. At this point, you may be getting an idea of the theme of the album. The inspiring house vibe continues into the next track “Veins” and through the rest of this masterful work. Have a listen to “Veins” below. It’ll definitely give you a taste of what Hope is like.

The journey, however, doesn’t stop there; then comes “Arrival” which is a refreshing twist on the vibes from the rest of the album. In this track, Third Party decides to throw in a power-track that shakes up the mix a bit. The exquisite bass drop of “Arrival” is bound to wake you wake up and get you pumped.

Another massive track that graces the album is that of Third Party‘s collaboration with Martin Garrix called “Lions In The Wild.” This highly progressive track is definitely festival material as it provides for huge build ups and equally as impressive drops. Overall, “Lions In The Wild” is a feel-good track.

The rest of the album continues on its progressive kick and appropriately ends with “Everyday Of My Life – VIP Mix.” This track showcases a soulful and uplifting way to end the album on a positive note. Third Party’s debut album has definitely demonstrated itself to be a beautiful journey allowing us to experience a myriad of emotions. There is no better word to describe Hope other than inspirational. Without a doubt, you will finish this album feeling refreshed and recharged. Give it a listen and see for yourself!

Courtesy of YourEDM, there was also the following interview with the up-and-coming duo. The interview highlights the process behind making Hope, and what fans can expect from Third Party for the coming year. It’s not too long, so check it out! You might learn something!

Congratulations on the album! I can honestly say it’s one of the best progressive works I’ve heard in the last couple years. How long have you guys been working on this and how does it feel to finally release it into the world?

“Thank you! We probably started the project about 18 months ago, that was when we really committed to the idea of doing an album and to have it finally finished is an amazing feeling!”

You’ve got a history of successful singles under your belt, what has been different about working on a full-length LP?

“The main difference is working out what your overall concept is, making sure all the tracks have the same feeling and can work as a body of work together. We hate seeing albums that are obviously just a load of singles stuck together without any real meaning of what the bigger picture is.”

The album’s namesake says a lot about the material, but can you describe the concept and what you wanted to accomplish?

“We came up with the title ‘Hope’ as we felt this represented what we wanted the message of the album to be as a whole. We want people who listen to the album to be inspired the way we were inspired by music we listened to growing up. Also from a human level, music has the power to create ‘Hope’ for someone in any aspect of their life, so if any of the songs can motivate/inspire/help anyone in anyway we will feel it was all worth it!”

I’m a sucker for “Without You”, but there’s something for everyone in ‘Hope’. What are your personal favorites from the album and why?

“Tricky question, we probably change our mind every week so maybe ask us later on in the year!”

What can fans expect from Third Party and RELEASE in 2017?

“We have a lot planned for 2017, we’re announcing an album tour very soon which includes our residency at Ministry of Sound where we’re back at on March 10th for a ‘Release’ night. Then we’re putting on our biggest show to date in Liverpool with a brand new concept called ‘The STAGE’ which we’re really excited about! It’s a big new custom made stage being made, we’re putting in a lot of work with our visual team to create the best visuals to fit with the music, which hopefully creates an unforgettable experience for the fans!”
