Run Away with Borgeous x MORTEN’s “Coffee Can Money”

All young, reckless kids have at least two things: an old can stuffed with $1’s and $5’s, and a wild dream they’re nervous, yet eager, to chase. Borgeous and MORTEN collabed and brought us this track about taking that money, running away with someone you love and leaving the rest behind. Whatever comes next – fame, fortune, or the opposite – you’re in this together. Just you, your love, and your coffee can money.

The song opens with a groovy house melody and quickly reveals RUNAGROUND‘s solid vocals, followed by a small build, break, an array of synths and a rhythm you won’t be able to sit still to. Check out the adorable lyric video below:

Los Angeles-based Dj Borgeous has given us some great remixes in the last year, but this original track gives us a much more personal look into his personality and style. He collabed with MORTEN, a Danish Dj/producer living in L.A. known for his deep progressive house and dubstep.

MORTEN has had a busy year as well, and just released a new dirty, dirty track with Riggi & Piros called “TTFU.” This song is the polar opposite of sweet, melodic “Coffee Can Money;” it’s more of a “ruthless 128BPM dubstep-influenced beast.” Check it out below: 

The vibes are very different but both tracks have definitely got me feeling some type of way. I’m definitely saving my coffee can money for next time either of them are in AZ!
