Nero’s Joseph Ray Debut’s Solo Single ‘Inside’

Nero has been in the hot seat ever since their wicked collab with Skrillex, “Promises.” Then they released their sophomore album Between II Worlds and that solidified their place in the industry–as a trio! The duo of Joseph Ray and Daniel Stephens evolved with the induction of vocalist Alana Watson as a full-fledged member of their group. Although Nero has maintained a steady touring schedule it’s been almost two years since we’ve seen any new music from the promising group.

The hiatus is about to come to a halt.. sort of. Joseph Ray, one-third of the trio that is Nero has come forward with his debut solo production, “Inside.” Check it out below:

The track premiered yesterday via Billboard. It’s a solid 6-minute house infused tune featuring the faint and haunting vocals of MELI. This collaboration is a result of Smirnoff Sound Collective’s endeavor to link up promising rising talents with experienced mentors. There’s a sense of mystery and desire alongside a stoic bass line and crisp percussion that pulls the listener in from the very beginning.
