Relentless Beats

Check Out TroyBoi’s MASSIVE 20-Track Debut Album

London-bred TroyBoi is known for his hip-hop infused beats, but he’s here to reinvent tired trap traditions and mark himself a leader among producers from both hip-hop and dance with his debut album Left is Right. With 20 killer tracks, it’s a massive collection of work featuring elements of dubstep, trap, R&B, and house, all weaved into headbanger beats. He was labeled a 2017 “Artist to Watch” by Billboard and this album will surely take him to the next level.

Fans should recognize previously released anthems “O.G.” and “ili,” but there’s a lot of new material for consumption, too. Check it out!

“Back To The Wall” and “What You Know” bang with a grimy darkness while “Mantra” and “KinjaBang” blend Asian influences with hip-hop percussion for some international vibes.  “Wavey” and “Her,” featuring Nefera and Y.A.S slow things down a bit, rounding out this versatile debut album. Only 5 of the tracks feature vocals, most notably hip-hop legend Ice Cube on the second-to-last track “Look At Me,” and the collaborations are far and few between, but it allows TroyBoi’s skills to really take center stage.

Regarding the album, TroyBoi said, “The ‘Left is Right’ album is what I’ve always wanted to do for the longest time, just purely because everything I was releasing was free downloads/singles, or just singles. I really wanted to create a full body of work which, in a way, told a story, and also showed people what I can really do as a producer,  not just make bangers or create this kind of song or that kind of song.”

And despite having just dropped all these new tunes, TroyBoi lets fans know there’s even more to be heard on his tour.

TroyBoi is stopping by the Pressroom this Thursday, September 7th. You won’t want to miss this one; grab tickets here.
