Canadian-born DJ Isabelle Rezazadeh, better known as REZZ, has been taking the world by storm lately with her iconic swirly glasses and static bass sound. In just this past year, the producer released her first LP, Mass Manipulation, embarked on her first world tour, and played some major festivals, including EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, Lost Lands, and right here in the valley at the first-ever Goldrush. In addition to all of those accomplishments, she was recently announced Billboard Dance’s Breakout Artist of 2017.
It’s no surprise this talented artist has been making some serious waves in such a short span of time. REZZ delivers a unique, entrancing sound, which can best be experienced at one of her live shows. If this sounds enticing to you, you’re in luck, this February REZZ will be heading back to Arizona to perform two shows: one at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson and one at the Van Buren in Phoenix. Maybe you’re new to REZZ and looking to hear some more before committing to buying tickets, or maybe you’re already a fan but just CAN’T get enough–either way, check out these three tracks below and you will, without a doubt, get pumped for her upcoming live show here in the valley.
Perhaps one of her first well-known songs, “Edge,” from her 2016 EP, The Silence is Deafening, showcases REZZ’s unique sound, as she incorporates natural elements and her idiosyncratic static sound.
This collaboration with fellow producer, K?D, truly captures the essence of REZZ–mind-warping bass with a beat your head naturally bobs to.
This single from her most recent Mass Manipulation LP does exactly what it sets out to do..hypnotizes you. You’ll get lost in this track live, staring into those swirly goggles as her music consumes you.
