If you’re reading this, you’re obviously a fan of music. It’s beautiful to listen to, it can be fun to dance to, and it has the power to transport you to another place or memory. More than anything, music has the power to heal your heart, mind, and soul. Music is therapy, right? And what better therapist than Armin van Buuren to create just the perfect track to repair all of your brokenness.
The Dutch DJ/producer obviously needs no introduction, but if you’re new around here, I’ll go ahead and tell you that all of his tracks are as therapeutic as this one. He’s been in the game for awhile, putting out trance and uplifting progressive house that really resonates with the soul. It’s about time he created a track with a title that reflects not only the song but his entire style: “Therapy.”
This track immediately soothes you with a chill beat, snapping fingers, and the blissful voice of James Newman. The familiar feel-good vibes of progressive house flow into the song after the drop, and the lyrics, “You look like therapy, exactly what I need, you’re where the darkness meets the light” put a delicious cherry on top. This song celebrates love and healing, whether it’s with a significant other, a friend, or yourself. I’m not crying, you’re crying.
