Marshmello Releases ‘Joytime II’

Your favorite helmeted sweet treat Marshmello just dropped his much-anticipated second album, Joytime II, featuring nine, original tracks that will get you both grooving and possibly even crying. The DJ premiered the album last week during a Facebook live stream where he was playing Fortnite with pro-gamer Ninja. Check it out here.

Unlike Mello’s first album, Joytime II features no guest spots. It does include two previously released singles, “Tell Me” and “Check This Out,” as well as several poppy instrumentals and catchy tunes with emotive lyrics reminiscent of young love. Check out the album below.

Mello’s first album, Joytime peaked at No. 5 on the Hot Dance/Electronic albums chart, but we have no doubt this one will find its way up there just as quickly. Marshmello has come a long way since his first release – a remix of Jack U and Justin Bieber’s “Where Are U Now.” He has since collaborated with some of the biggest names in the mainstream music world, achieved four Top 40 hits in the past seven months, and accumulated upward of 2 billion total streams.

At this point, I think it’s safe to say this one’s no longer keeping it mello – this DJ is the epitome of success in the dance music industry.
