Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw, who together are known as the duo Galantis, are legendary for their electro-pop beats that never fail to become tracks that everyone knows by heart when they come on. Impressive stages at festivals like Coachella, Ultra, Life is Beautiful and more have seen Galantis bring their high energy performances to huge audiences. From tracks like “Peanut Butter Jelly,” “No Money,” and the undeniable, universal favorite “Runaway (U & I).” Another track that exploded this year was a highly successful collaboration with OneRepublic called “Bones,” and now Galantis have released six remixes for you to vibe and sing to.
Each of the artists remixing “Bones” certainly infuse their own style into their edits, but it is also clear that they want to preserve the original energy. Galantis’ VIP mix with shndō has slightly higher energy, with gentle edits made to the tempo and sound. With Hook N Sling‘s remix, the chimes of brass are more prominent and there’s a whooshy effect to the drops. Steff da Campo undertakes a deeper edit with dark, echoing vocals and glitchy acid samples sprinkled in the drops. If you’re searching for something a little more angelic, B-Sights brings a twinkling, slightly euphoric edit to this remix package. Another distinct edit is eSQUIRE‘s, which carries a whisper of tropical house energy. LODATO‘s remix is the last in this package, and it keeps things simple and sweet with a small edit in the rhythm of the brass for a little hop.
Catch Galantis play the perfect summer set filled with “Bones” and all of their other hits when they come to the Talking Stick Resort on June 15. Grab your tickets now!
