Watch it Wednesday: Valentino Khan – ‘Pony’

LA-based DJ/producer and mustache man Valentino Khan first stormed this world with his debut EP In Khan We Trust on Skrillex‘s OWSLA label. Since then, he’s been building his unique versatility, incorporating elements of trap, bass, hardstyle, house and more into a driving, often heavy sound found in tracks like “Deep Down Low.” This hit of Khan’s, in particular, was Sirius XM’s #1 Song of 2015 on Electric Area, and Khan has only continued to create heaters for the dance floor. A few weeks ago he delivered his new booty-shaking bass house track “Pony,” and now he’s back with a mind-bending music video for this week’s Watch it Wednesday.

Valentino Khan – Pony (Official Music Video)

Be warned: this abstract video will make you do a double take. We’re introduced to the video’s unlikely stars: three mischievous older women who conduct some questionable rituals in the high desert, dancing freely and wildly. However, the leading role is the mysterious white horse that serves as the track’s namesake, which befalls a shocking fate at the video’s end. See for yourself by watching the video, and keep an eye out for Valentino Khan himself.
