Madeon Opens Up to Fans with Note and New Single

Madeon and his recent releases building up to his next album have been the sweetest return to the industry. We missed him dearly, and now he’s making up for the love lost in his break with intricate synth-pop tracks like “All My Friends” and “Dream Dream Dream.” His ethereal soulful sound was sorely missed, but his absence seemed to make our hearts grow fonder of his sound. In a recent heartfelt letter of vulnerability to his fans, Madeon revealed a little more waiting may be in order for his sophomore album, but it will be worth it – especially with his next accompanying single, “Be Fine.”

In this letter, Madeon opens his heart to his fans, honestly telling them he felt void of the joy that his album Good Faith emits. He decided to hold off releasing it until it feels right and he’s healthy, and he seems to know that his fans will understand, penning “I think I have an audience with the patience and empathy to afford me the time to be healthy.”

His third release on the journey to his album release captures the joy that Good Faith must encapsulate, like a sunray from the sun at its brightest. “Be Fine” is soothing with its whimsical vocals and synthy melodies, reassuring its listener, and perhaps Madeon himself, that it will be fine.

Madeon will be touring for his album release on his Good Faith Live tour. Get tickets for his Van Buren show in Phoenix on November 7th here or his El Rey Theater show in Albuquerque on November 8th here.
