Sam Lassner, better known by his stage name Prince Fox, is a DJ and producer from Manhattan, New York. He started producing electronic music when he first visited Electric Zoo, a festival in his home state. He gained epic notability after remixing songs for 3LAU, Cazzette and SNBRN. He later caught the attention of Casablanca Records, a label owned by Universal Music Group and operated under Republic Record, and signed with them in in 2015. That’s when things really started to heat up. It was a mere 3 years later when he found himself working with Bella Throne to create a hit pop single no one saw coming, “Just Call.”
Now that you hear what he’s like, we think the best way to get to know Fox is to hear a little note from the master mixer himself:
I am a songwriter/ producer originally from NYC, but relocated to LA. I’ve been playing guitar and writing songs since I was about 12 or 13, and my addiction to music has only gotten crazier ever since. Since I’ve started the Prince Fox project, I have been fortunate enough to travel the world doing what I love, and to work and collaborate with many incredible artists; i.e. YG, Rich The Kid, BIA, The Griswolds, Chantel Jeffries, Bella Thorne, Quinn XCII, Hailee Steinfeld, Wrenn, etc. 2019 marks a special turning point for me, as I finally feel like I am coming into my own as an artist, and have been working on tons of new music, for myself and other artists alike. I am eternally grateful for all of your support, and I cant wait to show you what I have in store.
You can see Prince Fox and his pop-that-knocks live at the Shady Park in Tempe on January 25th! You can grab tickets for you and your friends here.
