Shortly after the highly anticipated release of their fourth album, So Far So Good, The Chainsmokers teamed up with LA-based duo, Ship Wrek, for “The Fall”. When this track first debuted, it was previously under the fan-dubbed, unreleased ID known as “Emotions”. This song is a move away from the classic Chainsmoker’s pop sounds and features a deeper melodic house vibe. In this track, you can hear both duo’s unique talents blended seamlessly together. Check it out below!
The Chainsmokers took to social media to announce their long awaited release. They posted a video featuring trippy visuals of inverted colors and a snippet of the newly released track. In the caption, it said that “They have been working on this song with Ship Wrek for 3 years now and it’s finally out.” The two duos created the perfect tune to kick off summer and the wait for this song was definitely worth it! Featuring choppy, airy tones and a melodic intro with alluring lyrics, the song then transitions into vibey tech house sounds. This track shows a different side to The Chainsmokers but also emphasizes Ship Wrek’s tech house talent.
