Mad Decent 2015 Full Lineup Drops Ft. Jack U, Knife Party, Porter Robinson, T-Pain, And Many More

Mad Decent has released quite the eclectic lineup for this year’s Block Party festivities. There are a lot of familiar faces from last year including the Hdybyz themselves Flosstradamus, Mad Decent pioneer Diplo, Dillon Francis, and What So Not among them. But what is quite exciting about this year’s full lineup is the variety that it contains.

Typically this show has been known for being a trap/electro-oriented festival, but this year we have artists spanning a vast range of genres. You have a taste of some deeper bass from Oliver Heldens and Destructo, a flare of hip-hop from Tyler the Creator and T-Pain, Dubstep from the world-famous Knife Party, and even a touch of Drum and Bass from none other than Belgian DJ, Netsky.

An interesting addition to this years line up is the South African trio Die Antwoord. Often known for their live performances of their unique rap-rave sound, it will be interesting to see their psychotic style translated to the Mad Decent brand. Similarly, North Carolina based producer, Porter Robinson, known for his recently released Worlds album and new remix of Nero’s “The Thrill” hot off his performance at Coachella, joins the mix. Robinson has a more tranquil and playful sound than many of the artists listed and will therefore provide a nice change of pace to the cities in which he plays.

The Mad Decent Block Party kicks off in Atlanta on July 31st at the Masquerade Music Park and will close out in Chicago, Illinois on September 26th. All artists will not be playing every show; each city will have a number of designated artists. Don’t miss Mad Decent’s stop in Phoenix on September 18 at Rawhide. Three artists have already been announced: reggae fusion trio, Major Lazer; Tropical house pioneer, Thomas Jack; and bass-heavy, What So Not! Who else would you like to see on the Phoenix roster?
