Relentless Beats

Tritonal to Release Metamorphic I EP This March

Tritonal is one of the hottest names in electronic dance music right now. This dynamic duo hails from Austin, Texas, and they are traveling all over the place pounding their big room beats for screaming fans night after night. They also had one of my favorite podcasts (Air Up There), but have recently stopped producing that to shift their focus on touring and a new EP. Actually, they will be releasing three of them in the coming months. But the first one is about to drop, and has a single that just came out that will have you dancing around the room.

Metamorphic I only has three tracks, but features the hit single “Bullet That Saved Me”. This track features Underdown will be released exclusively on Enhanced Music on Beatport on March 11, 2013. Check out the track below:

“Our musical philosophy has always been about challenging ourselves and resisting expectations,” says Dave Reed. “With the new EP, we wanted to display our growth as artists and take listeners on that journey with us.”

“Bullet That Saved Me” is the first single from the EP, and is the first time these guys have worked with Mark Underdown. The next single to be released is “Bring Me Home”. This track features Meredith Call, and is focused more on melodies than trance. Tritonal still manages to make the track sound like their own, but it has more of an orchestra sound to it. These guys have worked with Call before. You might remember the single “Broken Down”, a track that first appeared on Tritonal’s debut album Piercing The Quiet. That track actually ended up in the top 5 on the Beatport trance chart.

The final track on the EP is titled “Deep Into Black”, and is a piano-driven chillout track that also features Underdown. Chris and Dave are giving these unknown names some massive exposure on this new EP, and I am excited to see what the next release will sound like. “Metamorphic I is absolutely a personal record,” says Chad Cisneros. “If you explore the song titles and lyrics, you’ll uncover the meaning of the EP as a whole. I think many listeners will relate to it.”

March is a big month for these two. They will be performing at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida on March 15 and March 24. Then Metamorphic I will drop on March 25, 2013. Click here for an exclusive interview with Tritonal.
