Relentless Beats

New Incorrect Music Release – Epiphany by Tone Depth

Tone Depth’s Epiphany is one of the latest releases from Anthony Attalla and Christopher Norman’s label Incorrect Music. Epiphany’s dark and brooding tech house beat combined with the occasional horn lend to a track perfect for later hours of the evening. It’s very unlikely anyone would be fist-pumping to this track, but an entire club will definitely get down once the beat drops.

From the press release:

Incorrect Music sets out to break new barriers with every release, and has done so again with a first in the label’s history; releasing a track so perfect that no remixes were needed, no additional tracks to compliment the leader, just one deliciously brilliant piece of work from Greek born producer, Tone Depth aptly titled “Epiphany”. Beginning with a barrage of slow-burning, muted and trippy perc accompanied by horn stabs and an irresistible ride, the track takes on a sexy yet ominous motif. As his story develops, a melodic beauty captivates the audience with a stripped-back ingenuity before the heady build drops back into the soulful and murky rolling groove. Subtle yet devastating chords dominate the soundscape in an ethereal, atmospheric platform as the final stanza eases you into its hypnotic ending point. Truly a masterpiece that we are proud to have on Incorrect. Enjoy!

Detroit based Techno/House label Incorrect Music was founded by Anthony Attalla and Christopher Norman in September of 2009. The idea, however, was cultivated in the winter of 2008 during a special and lengthy studio session when the two friends suddenly found themselves with a collection of tracks and an exceptionally unique sound that needed a home. Instead of choosing the beaten path – searching for a big-name label so sign the music – the two artists decided to create an entity with a mantra that reciprocated why they each had began making music in the first place. From this idea spawned what is now Incorrect Music. As Incorrect Music reaches its one year anniversary, the label continues to reach new heights with steadfast and consistent growth, both in the United States and global markets. Boasting production by some of the top Techno and House artists from around the world, Incorrect is home to artists from more than 20 countries. Creating a seamless harmony between dark underground tech and soulful house vibes, Incorrect prides itself on not complying with the ever-popular “niche” business model and focuses solely on releasing great music. Perpetually evolving… Tastefully trend-setting…
