Relentless Beats

Queen of Clubs Tour Hits Downtown

With collaborations with Avicii, EDX, Starkillers, Armin van Buuren, Alex Kenji, Serge Devant, and Tocadisco in Nadia Ali’s discography, it’s hard to dispute that she’s one of dance music’s leading ladies lending her voice to memorable tracks such as “Raptute,” “Keep It Coming,” and “Feels So Good.” For Relentless Beats owner Thomas Turner, it seemed appropriate to have Nadia Ali officially kick off the company’s new Saturday night in downtown Phoenix at Monarch Theatre.

“Monarch Theatre allows Relentless Beats to reach a whole new audience for dance music,” Turner explained. “Some people are intimidated by Scottsdale, and we want those people to have a place to go. With Monarch, I wanted to start with something special and this will be the first time that I’ll have a singer perform in a club setting.”

For Turner, Downtown Phoenix represents a whole new opportunity for dance music in the valley. With the exception of one-off events, Old Town Scottsdale has dominated the valley’s dance music scene, but a new venue downtown Phoenix can introduce dance music to a whole new audience in the Valley. “I like Scottsdale and I’ve operated there for years at different venues,” Turner continued. “I’m very happy with Wild Knight and I have no plans to end Sound Kitchen on Fridays. The new night on Saturday will just represent an opportunity for people to see dance music in a new venue downtown.”

Nadia is currently traveling on her Queen of Clubs tour hitting cities across the country. She’s currently scheduled to perform two sets at this Saturday’s Memorial Day Weekend Grand Opening.
