Fool’s Gold Records Acquires GrandeMarshall
Fool’s Gold has a new artist. The record company has been making a lot of noise lately, and they have added a new artist to keep growing into the massive collective they are becoming. This time they picked up 19-year-old MC GrandeMarshall. The kid comes from Philadelphia, a city that is pumping out world class DJs left and right.
GrandeMarshall kicks off his relationship with Fool’s Gold with a mixtape. When you listen to this mixtape, download here; it will make sense why label founders A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs picked him up. The release, titled 800, features the likes of DJ Dahi, Silky Johnson, and Grande himself. When listening to the mixtape, pay attention to tracks “GODBPM” and “NP Shidd”. I have a feeling these will be thrown into his sets night after night as he travels around promoting the new release and his rookie relationship with Fool’s Gold.

When asked about the 800, The Fader said, “Abnormally cohesive… to be clear, it is as good as a debut mixtape gets.”
