Paul van Dyk Helps Sandy Victims During NYC Trip

Three weeks after more than 1,000 New York City citizens were impacted by Hurricane Sandy, Paul van Dyk will be teaming up with Food Network, Cooking Channel and Southern Wine & Spirits of America to give back this Wednesday, November 21 for the ‘Our Table Is Yours, Thanksgiving Dinner’.

A day after working with all star chefs to serve out thanksgiving meals, PvD will then be headlining a show Thanksgiving night at Pacha in New York City, donating a portion his fee to the Food Bank of New York. The daylong event will support the Food Bank For New York City’s current efforts to help feed families and victims who were devastated by Hurricane Sandy’s destruction.

Emergency food supplies were distributed to feeding programs, operational soup kitchens, food pantries, senior centers, and agencies across the five boroughs including the hardest hit areas in Far Rockaway, Coney Island, Redhook, Staten Island and Lower Manhattan.

All the invited guests will be receiving meals to take home along with gift cards to buy necessities from local retailers. They will also be provided with information about applying for food stamps and replacing what they have lost in the storm.
