YetepIf you’re not following Dim Mak Records on Soundcloud then it’s likely that you missed all of the new music they dropped over the last week from a wide variety of artists.
There are previews from Sound of Stereo, D.O.D., TAI, Marc Benjamin, and entire EP teaser from Will Bailey and Poisound’s new Blazin EP and plenty more!
Sound of Stereo really brought something unique to the table with their new EP, and the teaser gives you a taste of the two new tracks on their EP “Terminal” and “Origin. The songs are catchy, melodic and feel good tracks. Their collaborative efforts with Belgian Synthpop band Teddiedrum really stand out, in a good way.
Jumping down a bit you’ll find Will Bailey and Poisound’s latest EP “Blazin” chock full of some dirty drops and bass hits. They waste no time, with the first track in the teaser starting out hard and heavy. Scratches and vocal samples galore, everything from an angry command to a melodic “whoah” is brought to the table in the first track. Transitioning into something with a bit of a slower build that led to what I felt like was a “spinning top” of sounds. The final track just needs to be listened to, it’s classic Will Bailey with a twist. Some reverberated vocal samples mixed into the drops, well timed drum hits. The whole nine-yards.
While you’re sifting through, check out their #FreeFriday download of Savage Skulls & Douster– TRT (Douster M8MIX). It’s got a cool groove to it, and even feels like it has some funk influence to some of the builds.
