YetepThis jam is not fooling, April. Eric Prydz is back to his Pyrda alias and his newest song “Power Drive” captures that underground sound that can’t be found in most if any of today’s electronic tunes. Careful listeners of EPIC Radio have already heard this a few times.
Set for release Monday, April 1, 2013, “Power Drive” pushes you up a building hill of sound for a solid few minutes of excitement. The type of song Pryda created is the type of fluid groove that you’d hear as your watches hit 1am and the DJ still has another few hours to play.
The crowd floats around the dance floor in zoned stupor moving to the beat of the rocking music. Enter bass line.
A long climb to the top of the same hypnotic melody keeps you moving. Drop it and the whole club goes wild. Two blasting bass pounds make the plummet to earth sounds so much sweeter.
In the mood for more of this music induced trance? Make your way up to Vegas for Prydz’s Black Dice Residency with the Wynn.
Until then, check for his “Power Drive” on iTunes and Beatport.
