YetepFast forward seventeen years from now. High technology and uptempo beats rule the day. Melodic chanting carries the beat forward into a whirlwind of sound.
Ilnaz Tarkhanov, aka Cramp, brought us to a world far beyond ours, yet only in the near future. Fellow Russian citizen Vladimir Ershov, aka PROFF, came with to revamp the new age groove into even more.
Speeding down a highway littered with chrome skyscrapers, the futuristic beat introduces us to a flurry of noise, all in sync with itself to give you a strong feeling of awareness.
In true PROFF style, there is a trickle of gentle trance synths, as if street lights were zipping by you on that distant highway. The snare takes you away, preparing you for the slip off the edge.
When it comes, a full bass line attacks you, but keeps the moody groove intact.
Intricate Records surely has a gem on their hands, released April 1st.
Play. Listen. Repeat.
