YetepHe might not introduce the podcast in English, but when it comes to Hardwell, music speaks louder than words. Hardwell is a local fan favorite, and has been releasing one hit after another. Not only is he releasing some of the best dance music currently available, he is busy holding a top 10 spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 list. Oh, and he has a pretty great podcast, too!
His podcast is called “Hardwell On Air” and he takes listeners on a journey through some pretty progressive stuff. This week we analyze the dance with “Hardwell On Air 121”.
This week you will hear the following tracks:
Merk & Kremont & Paris & Simo – Tundra
Audien – Iris
Alvaro & MERCER feat. Lil Jon – Welcome To The Jungle
Alesso & Dirty South feat. Ruben Haze – City Of Dreams (Showtek Remix)
David Guetta & GlowintheDark feat. Harrison – Ain’t A Party
Timeflies – I Choose U (Sick Individuals Remix)
W&W – Thunder (Dirty Dutch Visionaire Remix)
Hardwell – Three Triangles (Losing My Religion)
Dante – Zoologic
Tritonal & 7 Skies – Reset
3LAU & Paris & Simo feat. Bright Lights – Escape
Michael Woods – Clanga
Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX – I Love It (Tiesto Remix / Hardwell Rework)
Bassjackers – Crackin
This episode starts off with a bang and really starts picking up with Lil Jon. Guns N Roses might have made the line famous, but with a little help from Alvaro and MERCER, “welcome to the jungle” takes on a new meaning. He says it over and over again, but “Welcome to the jungle, bitch!”
Earlier today I was thinking, “I haven’t heard much about David Guetta lately.” Boom. There he is! Oh, and I can’t get enough of W&W. They are killing it with “Thunder,” and it’s great to see remixes of that track popping up.
When Icona Pop released “I Love It,” I was hooked. Then Tiësto got his hands on it and made it better. Now Hardwell is releasing an exclusive Hardwell rework of the song. The song really does get better every time someone touches it.
Listening to this podcast gets me pumped for more from Hardwell. He will be in the Valley next month, but if you can’t wait to see him live, “Hardwell On Air” will help hold you over. This is quickly becoming the soundtrack to my nightlife.
