Pete Tong Relocates to LA & Goes on Tour

Pete Tong is going on tour. This North American tour will include an “All Gone Pete Tong Arena” at TomorrowWorld and a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Oh, and he is also relocating to Los Angeles!

This year has seen Tong spend more time in America, a territory he believes is at the center of the current global upsurge in dance music. His role in American radio has also expanded. Pete hosts a daily radio show dedicated to dance music on iHeartRadio, and now also presents a weekly syndicated show, “Evolution With Pete Tong,” that is heard on over 80 stations across country. In 2013 he also brought his Ibiza conference, IMS, to LA, played Coachella, gave the keynote speech at EDM Biz in Las Vegas and hosted “All Gone Pete Tong” events during EDC and Ultra Miami.

“I’m looking forward to being based in LA,” said Tong. “The electronic dance music scene in the USA has reached a critical mass and the opportunities for our world are taking us into uncharted territory. I feel now its essential to be in the middle of all that. LA is an inspiring and creative city where content is king and I look forward to giving the rest of the world a more detailed insight into what going on (in the USA) whilst also looking for better opportunities to represent all the brilliant new artists/ producers and DJ’s breaking through in the UK, Europe. I have been involved in radio throughout my career and I think this fresh perspective is going to enable me to make some very exciting shows,” concluded Tong.
