Bassnectar releases Immersive Music Mixtape Side Two + “Take You Down”

Bassnectar has released Immersive Music Mixtape Side Two, the follow-up to Side One that he released earlier this summer. Bassnectar is at his finest with exclusive remixes of Grimes, Deftones, Lux and Telfon Tel Aviv. The mixtape also features tracks off his newest release Take You Down.

Bassnectar commented on the new release saying, “While it isn’t all encompassing, it’s definitely reflective of both the wild side, and the deeper, more melodic side. I wanted to explore unique ideas or left-field directions while still bringing the heaviest sound possible, and part of that involves reaching back into the old throwbacks & classics, sampling their magic, and reinventing them with new energy. Twisting it all up into an extended ride through my imagination…”
