Felix Cartal recently passed 100,000 fans on Facebook. To celebrate the digital milestone, he and Koko LaRoo are giving away a beautiful, unplugged mix of their recent collaboration “Young Love,” the lead single from his latest Dim Mak EP Past, Present, Felix. What originally started as a simple iPhone voice recording of “Young Love,” has blossomed into a heavenly acoustic mix. Koko LaRoo’s voice shines as she’s given space to wrap her fine and breathy vocals around the guitar. The new mix is a stunning rendition that offers a different, emotional insight into the original vocal house track.

“Koko sent me an iPhone voice note of her playing “Young Love” on acoustic guitar and I thought it was beautiful,” says Cartal. “So the next time I was in LA we tracked it with the amazing KiDD R!CH at his studio. He sent it to me, I scored some strings and that’s what you hear now!”
