The BPM Festival has revealed no shortage of compelling events in the run up to their 2015 festival, yet one of 2014’s best parties has been conspicuously absent… Rumors.
Rumors is more than an ongoing event series – it’s hub for mysticism, spirituality, and hedonistic misadventure. Guy Gerber spent his summer on the White Isle, eschewing Ibiza’s big rooms, for a secretive weekly beach party, Rumors. No line-ups, no set-times, Rumors was a party that embraced the clandestine bohemian spirit upon which the island was based. Many came and danced with their feet in the sand, and were rewarded with surprise sets from Luciano, Carl Craig, Tobi Neuman, Bill Patrick and of course, Guy Gerber.
In January Gerber brings his coveted party to the sands of Mexico, for a special BPM edition of Rumors.
Taking place on January 9, Gerber brings along friends and fellow Rumors cohorts Chaim and Lauren Lane.
Gerber arrives in Playa Del Carmen fresh from collaborating with the WIFE on an audio-visual project at Miami’s Art Basel. While the label component to Rumors continues to capture hearts and minds, little wonder given its recent output includes Gerber’s collaboration with Dixon and the acclaimed “11 11” project with Diddy.
Tickets to “Rumors” at the BPM Festival can be purchased here for $15.00
