YetepDimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs Ummet Ozcan’s track “The Hum” dropped their official music video and it will put your craziest story to shame. Basically, they took every movie with the core message of degeneracy (American Pie, Project X, Wolf of Wall Street) and reenacted all the major party scenes. The beginning scene shows the three artists the morning after, one face down on the bathroom floor with a bunny in the bathtub, another channeling his inner Hugh Hefner with a mound of attractive women on his bed, and the final one poolside getting woken up by a monkey in a sea of pool inflatables. The video then goes back in time to the night before and that is where the true debauchery unfolds.
Hundreds of beautiful people swarm into the Hollywood Hills mansion, there is a midget riding an elephant, sexually frustrated female cops, and a live alligator. But wait, there is more. Someone rides a motorcycle into the pool, almost naked pillow fights, and guest appearances from the man behind Tiger Blood himself, Charlie Sheen and martial arts master Jean Claude Van Damme. As for the track itself, it is definitely going to be a popular one this summer. Best part about it is the ominous humming sound replicating Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey’s epic lunch scene in Wolf of Wall Street. Please tell me I am not the only person to think of this scene when I first heard the song!
Luckily for us Phoenicians, partying like this isn’t a foreign idea as we have the Talking Stick Release pool parties all summer long at Talking Stick Resort & Casino. Check out Juicy M on May 16th and let’s rage like Dimitri, Mike, and Ummet!
