Will Gucci Mane’s New Album Be An EDM Album?

It might be. The incarcerated rap sensation tweeted that a “NEW EDM ALBUM WITH @DIPLO ON THE WAY,” on April 18. Gucci’s typical style of hard, vulgar rap is far from what we hear at EDC or Wet Electric, and Diplo revealed that we probably never will. The producer replied to the tweet with, “it aint EDM but we working!” Am I the only person who didn’t know you could tweet from jail? GUCCI!

This is an interesting collab to say the least, and with Gucci’s recent timeline, nothing is impossible. In the last month he dropped Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, announced that five projects will be released by this season, and released his EP Dessert… all while in jail.

It’s confirmed that the rebel rapper and the dance tune DJ are devising something in the studio. Could it be EDM? Does Gucci Mane have any idea what he’s talking about? Is Diplo trying to throw fans off? Nonetheless, this duo will crank out a collab any day now.
