Relentless Beats

Ultra South Africa 2016 Expands To Three Days!

The largest and most successful dance festival in Africa just got even larger! Ultra South Africa has granted fans their wish and leveled up to a full three-day weekend of dirty dance beats and rowdy ravers.

The rave Gods have allowed Johannesburg’s Expo Centre to host two consecutive days of the festival before it hits Cape Town for the grand finale. This legendary weekend will span from Feb. 26-28 2016. With 2014 being Ultra’s debut in South Africa, 2015 experienced a 20% increase in attendance. Imagine what next year will entail with TWO MORE days to rave!

The third day in Cape Town will be held at the newly renovated River Club; a strikingly beautiful city venue that is surrounded by the best scenery South Africa has to offer. Natives and travelers alike will be in awe at the gorgeous natural wonders and outstanding dance music sets.

As if this isn’t enough great news for our Capetonians,  along with the reveal of this expanded weekend came the release of the 2015 Ultra South Africa Aftermovie. Less than six minutes long, this video will make ravers and non-ravers crave a festival ASAP. It captures the beauty that is South Africa, the chaotic crowds, and insane footage of the DJ’s best moments all to leave you booking a flight by the end of it.

The aftermovie begins with Martin Garrix walking across a beautiful beach in South Africa expressing his gratitude for having the experience to play on the Ultra stage. In celebration of the successful festival and the aftermovie, Garrix premiered two exclusie collaborative tracks with Matisse & Sadko that are only can be heard in the aftermovie.
