They say that less is more, something that definitely holds true in Brenmar’s video for “Hula Hoop”. The video is simple and follows the very explicit instructions of Jersey club queen UNiiQU3, which are to “swing them hips around like a hula hoop”. And with such a banging track, how can you even resist? The video, the first off of Brenmar’s EP Award, which has been released off of the Fool’s Gold record label has quite an impressive listing of credits, as its star hula hooper just so happens to be Guinness World Record holder, Marawa The Amazing, who holds the record for spinning 160 hoops at once. Behind the scenes, the ultra hip video was directed by Lil Internet, you know, the genius behind Diplo‘s “Express Yourself” and Beyonce‘s “No Angel”. However, it’s the talents and sheer passion that Brenmar and UNiiQu3 have with sharing this distinct style with the world that makes the whole thing so amazing.

The track, which sits at a comfortable 138 BPM, isn’t your typical electronic track at all. There’s just something about the thumping, hard-hitting bass, the melodic, persistent horn patterns, coupled with the sassy vocals by UNiiQU3 that just makes your body move and sway to the beat.
