Etienne De Crecy Drops A New Funky Single Featuring Alex Gopher & Asher Roth

Etienne De Crécy is a key figure of the international electronic scene. During his 20-year rise to the summit, the French producer has cut some of the world’s most influential electronic albums: Pansoul, Super Discount 1, Tempovision and Super Discount 2. He has also made around 30 EPs and done some 40 remixes for artists such as Kraftwerk, Air, Moby, Morcheeba, Lil’ Louis and Zombie Nation. As well as being recognized for his versatile and potent productions. Last Friday, the 17th Etienne dropped a fresh new collab featuring Alex Gopher and Asher Roth, co-produced by Gopher from Etienne De Crecy’s Super Discount 3 Album.

Known for his tricky rhyme schemes and clever lyricism, the steady flowing Asher Roth has been a staple in the rap game since “I Love College” in 2009. Since then, the 2009 XXL Freshman Class member has collaborated with the likes of CeeLo Green, Keri Hilson, Akon, Meek Mill, Curren$y, B.o.B, and now Etienne De Crecy. Along with Asher, Alex Gopher adds his own sound to the mix with his combinations of jazz and blues fusion and technology making for an original demeanor versus his club/dance compatriots. French DJ Alex Gopher joined the ranks of his electronic counterparts such as Daft Punk, Les Rhythmes Digitales, and Cassius with the release of his debut album You, My Baby & I in mid-2000.
