YetepHave The Martinez Brothers ever produced or remixed a bad track? Absolutely not! And this next release is no exception!
Taking on the legendary duo’s latest single “Sneakin’ Toronto”, The Martinez Brothers give Basement Jaxx’s latest single their signature tech house touch. Under their wings, The Martinez Brothers have turned “Sneakin’ Toronto” into a complex web of booming drums, claps, and stuttered vocal samples. Yes, in typical Martinez Brothers fashion, they have another club-centered party starter on deck, which will be officially released off of their own label, Cuttin Headz, later this summer.
If that’s all you think you’ll see of The Martinez Brothers this summer, you’re absolutely wrong. Coming hot off the heels of their Masters at Dutch Volume 1 (available for free download!) they remixed Art Department’s “Kisses For Roses” and have turned Tiga and Boys Noize’s track “100” up a notch into a 132 BPM acid house hard hitter. The remix to “100” recently premiered this past weekend and will also be released oin July 17. And their run of releases is, of course, also coupled with a hectic touring schedule, including a performance at Electric Zoo in September, their CircoLoco residency at Ibiza’s DC10, a performance at Panorama Bar in Berlin in July, at Fabric in London, and a performance at Creamfields UK in August.
