YetepIn coordination with ‘The Day Is My Enemy’, released in March this year, The Godfathers of Rave are back with their latest EP release ‘The Night is my Friend’, set to be released on the 31st of July. ‘The Night Is My Friend’ is also going to be released under the record labels Take Me To The Hospital and Cooking Vinyl.
The Prodigy, an English electronic dance music band, was formed in 1990 by Liam Howlett, the keyboardist and composer of the band. According to their Facebook page post on the 26th of May, the pioneers of the big beat genre plan to release the new EP on “a limited vinyl and cassette and good ol CD.” Don’t worry, new fans, ‘The Night Is My Friend’ will also be available for download! In another post on their Facebook page on the 30th of June, the band revealed the set track list for the new EP which comprises of 5 songs:
The track ‘AWOL’ should bring a great deal of joy to fans considering it is a track that has been played live at their shows since 2012. After creating an unheard version of the song, ‘AWOL’ is finally going to be released with the new EP.
In other good news The Prodigy is planning to perform at Riot Fest in their first North American tour of 2015. The Prodigy’s official website announced tour dates for the band at Riot Fest that takes place in Denver on August 8th, in Chicago on September 13th, and in Toronto on September 20th.
