Zedd Announces Huge Supporting Acts for True Colors North American Tour

What an awesome surprise for all of you Zedd fans out there. The multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning artist has just done us all the courtesy of announcing that Alex Metric, Madeon, and Dillon Francis will be joining him on his North American Tour. Also among this already stellar line-up of supporting acts will be special guest appearances from the likes of Alvin Risk, What So Not, AlunaGeorge, and A-Trak. Alex Metric will be opening in every city, while Dillon Francis and Madeon split direct supporting duties throughout the tour.

Zedd refuses to blend in with the crowd. This show has been designed to bleed creativity and goes hand-in-hand with the concept of his True Colors album. Directed by Zedd himself, the show will feature 90 minutes of 4K visuals that will aid in the complete sensory journey told through music, lighting, visual, ans special effects. The entirety of the show will be performed live, and each experience will be unique state to state, much like his track reveals leading up to the release of the album.

In addition, Mr. Zaslavski has announced an additional 10 dates to his already massive tour. Zedd excitedly states, “I’m suuuuuper excited to announce that I’ve added 10 more shows to my True Colors Tour! This will be my first headline tour in over 2 years and I can’t wait to show you all my new production and some nice surprises!!! My friends Dillon Francis, Madeon, Alex Metric, What So Not, Alvin Risk, AlunaGeorge and A-Trak, plus some special surprise guests will be joining me. See you in the fall : )” These new cities he mentions include: Washington DC, Philadelphia, Columbia, Orlando, Atlanta, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Chicago, and Madison.

True Colors made its debut on May 19th at number 4 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Zedd served as executive producer on the album, as well as co-wrote every track including the first hit single, “I Want You to Know” ft. Selena Gomez, which spent 4 weeks at number 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Likewise, his other hit single off True Colors, “Beautiful Now”, recently dropped its music video and a remix EP. The EP includes remixes from Zonderling, Marshmello, KDrew, Dirty South, Charlie Darker, and Twoloud; the Marshmello remix can be heard below:
