YetepThere’s no way to talk about dance music phenoms without bringing up The Martinez Brothers. In the last decade, Steve and Chris Martinez have emerged from the underground and become dance music’s most acclaimed producers. Their New York roots have given them a history of knowledge in the arenas of hip-hop and techno, and they’ve developed an exceptional ear for unique, seductive sounds. With an incredible skill for curating track lists full of energy, that seamlessly carry fans from one tune to another, The Martinez Brothers have taken their incredible knack for DJing all over the world, having earned residencies in some of the world’s hottest clubs, performing at international festivals, and a role as Givenchy’s runway producers for Riccardo Tisci.
Coming fresh from a summer long residency in Ibiza’s iconic Circoloco, The Martinez Brothers have announced they’ll be returning to the Americas this fall with a 14 date tour, which includes stops in Detroit, Toronto, San Francisco, and right here in Phoenix!

They get busy in the booth, but they definitely put in their fair share of time in the studio as well. As the label heads for two of the biggest labels in underground dance music, The Martinez Brothers celebrate the techno and house culture in New York with their label Cuttin’ Headz. Alongside Seth Troxler, the three biggest influencers in the American techno scene act as the label heads for Tuskegee, using it as a platform to showcase electronic music from a diverse range of cultural and ethnic influences. The projects that The Martinez Brothers involve themselves in is definitely a good example of how diverse their work is, ranging from production work on hip-hop albums, to collaborations with the legendary Arthur Baker in remixing works from Basement Jaxx and releasing their own EP, The Masters Collection EP. The Martinez Brothers are surely not an act to miss!
