The Relentless Beat of the Week: Nick Double & Rowen Reecks – “Elephant”

For this weeks Relentless Beat of the Week, we decided to go in a different direction and feature a song that not a lot of you have heard by some artists that are emerging from the shadows. Just released on Monday, the latest single from Big & Dirty Records and the first track on the label from Nick Double and Rowen Reecks, “Elephant”, is the week’s Relentless Beat of the Week. The track features an energetic groove that begs listeners to get up on their feet and lose control. With its seriously funky bassline and its out of control house beats, “Elephant” is a track that is essential to anyone’s morning routine as well as their weekends out at the nightclubs.

The track has already received support from some of the biggest names in electronic music including Showtek, The Chainsmokers, and Borgore who claims that the song is “so dope, that drop!” In addition, Dutch DJ Dyro played out the track at one of his performances in Switzerland to massive acclaim. The two up and coming producers both originate from The Netherlands, where their fan base is quickly rising. Rowan Reecks has been involved both with Armada Music and Flashover Recordings previous to signing on with Big & Dirty, while Nick Double has taken part in productions with Spinnin’ Recordings, where he produced the Tomorrowland and Beatport gem, “Live Life”.
