Forest Fam Good News: Electric Forest Announces Return to Rothbury & New Video Series
Entering its sixth year, Electric Forest has become one of the most unique destination festivals in the United States, drawing a very loyal fan base who come back each year. Annually held in the back woods of Michigan, the forest is one of the best vibe-fests you’ll find in North America and perhaps even the world. EF is fast becoming one of the most respected festivals in EDM.
Last year acts included Bassnectar, Skrillex, Flume, Big Gigantic, Kaskade, Odesza, and more, and I can’t wait to see who will be coming this year. This magical festival will return once again to Rothbury, MI slated for June 23-26, 2016, and has also announced a brand new four-part video series. Titled Once Upon The Forest, the series will highlight the past, present and future of EF.
The first video in the Once Upon The Forest series, titled “Awakening,” has been released to go along with the news about Electric Forest’s 2016 dates. The video champions the openness and inclusive nature of the festival grounds and those who inhabit it for three days in late June.

This beautiful video series will in culminate December, when fans will be given the first chance to purchase tickets to EF16. Ticket info has not been released yet, but wristbands and lodging packages will also go on sale sometime in December. Fans can sign up for the festival’s mailing list to get access to advanced tickets.
