The Grammys have been notorious for selling dance music short in the awards shows larger categories, and unfortunately this year is no different. We have the likes of Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, and more heading up the larger categories like Album of the Year and Record of the Year. All of these names listed are certainly no stranger to dance music, so the genres relevancy and popularity rise over the last couple of years is certainly felt, but it still may be a bit of time before it is recognized on such a wide scale.
