EDC Boosts Las Vegas Economy By Over $1.3 Billion

SUN, FEB 28, 2016

In the past five years that EDC has been in Las Vegas, it has generated over $1.3 billion for the local economy according to the festival’s economic impact report. In the festival’s 2015 appearance alone it generated $350.3 million and attracted 405,000 attendees. Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac, says he considers Las Vegas “a place I call home” and adds, “I’m so grateful that I can do what I love while making a positive impact in the community.”

Despite the festival’s shaky past and relocation from Los Angeles, EDC has become one of the world’s biggest electronic festivals with spending of over $280 million on production it’s no wonder so many people want to experience the magic under the electric sky.
